    Medkit.

An honourable scientist really, working under the Blackrock division of the Inpherno. His work, accomplished alongside his accomplice, Subspace, was prized. Praised. His work was desired, even, as he topped biology as well as the general science clientele. Subspace took on robotics moreover, working more with robots & other mechanical enhancements rather than biological ones.

    Ban Hammer.

A judicial, tyrannical judge ruling the Crossroads, all & all. He traveled from place to place making things right, despite how the other civilians quickly grew to despise him under his iron fist of a rule. “It’s all part of being a judge, baby,” he’d comment on the news in response to public outcries in protest to his rule, “you gotta rule it well or not rule it at all. That’s how it works.”

Well, that comment wasn’t taken very nicely by the public, to put it shortly.

Anyway, point was, that Ban Hammer was a ..very known person around all the factions. Medkit had surely heard of him at some point, either from Subspace’s rambles or from the news itself.

Ban Hammer had definitely heard of Medkit, of the scientist’s groundbreaking work in discovering the first known instance of crystals. It amazed him, how large the difference was from two people that weren’t very different in means of power & influence. Well, obviously, Ban Hammer had the higher power here, but Medkit was just as influential.

Late one night, Ban Hammer had received a report of a large trouble going on at Blackrock’s science centre, something of a scuffle between the two head scientists that had ended up in a massive fight, with blood being drawn & all. It seemed a due case just for Ban Hammer, & if he set this case right, maybe he’d be set right again in the eye of the public!

He set off for the scene right away, cutting through forest & jungle as a shortcut to reach the black, barren lands of Blackrock. He reached the research facility in no time, broad grin on his face, iconic banhammer slung over his shoulder.

Once he actually entered the facility, however, it was a whole different scene.

It looked like a war had gone down in there; scientists nowhere to be seen, chairs strewn all over the place, lab borne potions & lotions spilt all over the tiled ground & the walls. Ban Hammer soon felt his smirk fading as he cautiously tip-toed past the rubble & the mess, eventually reaching the laboratory of the two head scientists, who had allegedly begun this whole scuffle in the first place.

& there, he saw Medkit; slumped on the ground, looking so utterly lost, a hand held over his eye.

Ban Hammer briskly shook his head to clear his thoughts, stepping over to Medkit & standing in front of the downed scientist, a hand authoritatively placed on his hip.

“Do you mind telling me what went down here, doc?”
