Nikolai was at home, distracted by his activities when a knock on his door followed by light crying attracted his attention.

He walked towards the entrance of the house and opened his door, his eyes widening as he saw what was on his doorstep.

"Why a baby is here?!"

Nikolai takes the baby who was just put in a basket. He rocks them a little until they stop crying.

"Well little buddy, I don't know who dropped you off here but I'm going to have to take care of you now."
