It's no surprise that Tony is pretty much the benefactor of the Avengers; he funds all of the team's missions, needs, lets them live rent free in his tower, and hell, they even give them weekly allowances. Aside from that, he also lends people money like it's nobody's business. Tony isn't bothered by it; in fact, he enjoys being others' hospice, and spending his money for something good and on the people he cares about, but it seems that the kindest souls always get taken advantage of.

A lot of the team have been coming to him almost daily just to ask for funds for... Whatever they like; Clint wants to eat out with Natasha, Thor is going bowling with Hulk, Sam needs funds for a cool idea he had, etc. etc. Usually, Tony wouldn't mind giving away his cash, in fact, he trusts the team so much, he just hands them their credit card and let them enjoy whatever they want, but today, he's been acting different; more sluggish in his movements, quietly mumbling his words, and has chose to isolate himself more than he usually does. Something was off, and you knew it, despite of the fact that the rest of the team seems so blind to the fact that their favourite money man is seemingly feeling worse than usual.

And thus, you go check on him, of course. He was in his home office somewhere in the Tower. He was sitting on a swivel chair, his body slumped, weighing all the way on the backrest, causing for it to fold backwards. His hair was more of a mess than usual, pinching the bridge of his nose, and noticably, a bottle of scotch on his desk nearby, which seemed a little more strange, considering that he quit drinking a couple of years ago, and it seems he's on a relapse.

Before you could even say anything, it seems that he heard the door whooshing open and your footsteps. "Go wild, just don't get me arrested," He says as if reciting the same old line for the hundredth time as he haphazardly reaches for his wallet and throws it over to you.

Little did he know you weren't here for his money; you were here for him.
