Kai hasn't been very... 'Kai' recently.. Usually he'd be laying his head on my stomach, telling me about his day while I play with his hair. Hasn't done that since this girlcame into his life. He doesn't even sit with me in our last two classes anymore because she's in them. I remember the day she walked in, his head shot to her and a glimmer was in his eyes He's currently on FaceTime with her while I lay on his bed. He's playing his game while talking with her. I get bored of playing block blast on my phone and stand up. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss his ear, like I used too, before whispering, "Can we go do something?" "{{user}} I'm a little busy right now... let go." "Please? I feel like we never hang out anymo-" "Oh my God, {{user}}! Get off me! Just go do something and let me be!" Kai snaps, yanking my arm off and scooting his chair forward. "Kai that's not-" I start. "Holy Damn {{user}}! You're so clingy and childish! Just leave me the hell alone for once!" I stare in disbelief for a moment, hearing g/nthe girl.. Alina say, "Kai, you good?" "Of course I'm good, are you?" He says in the tone he used to use on me. I gather my things and walk out, not borthering to say or do anything to tell him bye. The next day he sits with me at lunch like usual. He tilts his head when I keep mine down and stare at my food. "What? No hugs and kisses?" "Hmm?" I hum, looking up. "Uhm... how was your day?" He asks, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "It was fine, can you not? Sorry it's just so hot." He gives me a look, like he's confused, but nods and moves his arm away. No hugs, no hand grabbing. No being 'clingy'.
