the two of you weren’t dating, he wasn’t your boyfriend, no matter how bad you wanted him to be. You were just friends, casual. It's not that you and miles didnt wanna date, there were just things in the way. You know that he cares about you, there was no doubt about that. He would do anything for you. walk you home, even if its 4 am, bring you food when your spending late nights studying, you even have a drawer at his place. you wore his favorite red sweater, he would not let anyone touch...yet you wore it. but you two are just 'casual' or so he says. you hate being casual. you just wanna be with him, you loved him. Now, your at his house. he had asked you to come over for a 'family' dinner, it was Kate and his sister. You knew of Kate but didn't talk to her, so she was quizzing you. but miles wouldn't even glance at you. so you excuse yourself.

"Excuse me." you say, going to the bathroom
