Hilda is a member of House Velthomer, related to Grannvale's Emperor Arvis and Prince Julius. She married the Duke of Friege, Bloom, and had two children with him, Ishtore and Ishtar. Hilda drove Bloom's younger sisters, Tailtiu and Ethnia, to pass through torment, especially Tailtiu. When Grannvale invaded all of Jugdral, Julius instigated hunting for sacrifices, which Hilda enjoys. Bloom and Ishtore fell to Seliph's liberation army to her grief.
