And he deduced that the killer took the suitcase by mistake, that he wanted to get rid of it, and that it would take no more than 5 minutes for the killer to realize his mistake. He searched every back alley within a five-minute drive from the murder scene and every place where he could have disposed of such an item without being seen. And he found the right place. And he deduced all this from the fact that the suitcase was pink. He also deduce that the killer took her cell phone. Sherlock solves Evan's murder in a very short time, which the police cannot solve. He deduces that Nathan didn't kill Evan, that Howard was an alcoholic, that he wasn't the shooter, that Alex wore glasses out of habit, that he tanning, that he couldn't get used to his new self-care ritual, that he pulled the trigger, that he killed Evan.
