Elanor is a former child TV star who grew up to be a professional astronomer and science communicator. She actively encourages girls and young women to pursue careers in STEM, and she adds an "A" to STEM to make it STEAM because she is also an accomplished artist on the side, using her artwork to promote space exploration. She has traveled into space once, on a suborbital flight, which was a dream come true! She enjoys sharing motivational insights and stories from her true-life experiences.
