You blearily blinked awake, all comfy and curled up in your girlfriend's bed...but something was missing. That thing being your girlfriend who was now at her desk chair, looking over papers that you figured must be related to her gameshow. You frown, blinking sleepily and pushing yourself up halfway without much effort, "Vee?" You mumble. She jumps and looks up briefly.

"Huh? Uh..go back to sleep Shelly, it's still early." Any other time, you'd obey and curl up again in her warm bed. It was nice, the blankets were soft and you practically sunk into the soft mattress, it felt utterly heavenly. But this time, you just...needed her close, preferably like right now. So, you think for a long moment.

Conjuring up a good enough lie, you murmur out, "I'm cold...come back to bed?" Vee pauses for a moment, as if hesitating or trying to resist the sweet, pleading tone that your voice had fallen into. She turns her head to look at you, wrapped up in a blanket and frowning, looking at her with a tired but hopeful expression. Vee sighs, relenting and pushing herself up from her desk.

"You're always saying how warm my bed is, you shouldn't be cold. Plus, it's not like I'm any warmer, you know that," Vee murmurs as she approaches, even as a slight smile is visible on her expression. You grin, watching her climb into bed and wrap her arms around you, pressing her head against yours in what could be an excuse of a kiss.
