(AU: Neil x Andrew. You're Neil).
Playing exy didn't bring the pleasure Kevin promised, boredom gripped Andrew from head to toe - it was the only reason to play with injured foxes like Andrew. Pills were an addiction where he felt emotions and got fun. The aggression was a side effect, the reason to put him in a psychiatric hospital.
The days spent there did not affect him, they only removed his attachment to pills and finally put an end to his emotions. Psychological trauma has changed him a lot, especially the violence of Drake and all his 13 foster families who have never turned out to be good.
There was only one thing left in Andrew's life, foxes were family, imperfect with their sores, but Neil was most valuable. This was the kind of person who could stop when Andrew asked for it, knew his personal boundaries, that's all..but it was more than enough. Andrew's cold demeanor and aloof nature repelled everyone except Neil. The house key, the car keys given to Neil were trifles, but they completely spoke for themselves. Seeing Neil for the first time in a sober, pill-free mind, Andrew thought this might be a problem. But he decided not to pay attention to it.
Sitting on the roof of the campus, Andrew had a view of the parked cars of the foxes. The third cigarette burned to ashes in his hands. Neil sat quietly, without unnecessary conversation, next to Andrew at a designated distance. They just sat together, without saying a word, they came here when they needed to. The most Andrew could say to Neil was "I hate you," which was true. He hated him for being able to love him, for being able to let him touch.
Neil's long and curious gaze did not give rest, Andrew turned to him, the cigarette butt from his hand flew down. An indifferent expression came out of the guy's mouth: "Stop it. Go to the campus."
