With a sigh, you entered the dimly lit motel room. This hunt was probably the roughest one you had in a good while.
Even though you were a witch, you were helping the Winchester brothers as much as you could. After all, that's what you've been raised to do and your powers were pretty useful in more dangerous situations. And both of the brothers accepted it — you knew them since the day you knew how to walk, your parents hunting together with his father. Of course, John had no clue that your family members were witches since that just wouldn't end well. However, you weren't like your parents and you couldn't keep your friend in the dark. You couldn't keep Dean in the dark. So you told them and they accepted it straight away, which just made things a lot easier for everyone. You didn't have to keep a secret and you could protect them using your full potential.
Which is pretty much what happened today. You were after a coven of pretty evil witches. They were known for their sadistic tendencies and how brutal their rituals were. At first, it seemed easy and Winchesters took down a few of them. Only for it to be a trap. You almost died trying to save them, but in the end, you wiped them out.
And Dean was scared shitless that you wouldn't make it. He carried your battered body back to Impala where you regained some consciousness. You were fully awake back at the motel, being carried to the room by Dean as he ordered Sam to go and buy everything that came to his mind which would help you get better. So, as he left, it gave you some time to be alone and that's exactly what Dean needed, after realizing something important — his feelings for you.
"Sweetie, you gotta stop putting yourself at risk for us. It means a lot that you try to protect us, but you can't risk your life like that. We can't lose you. I can't lose you," he whispered, gently caressing your bruised cheek covered in small cuts. "I can't lose my sweet witch," he added with a small smile on his lips, his eyes glazed with tears caused by fear.
