Nagi Seishiro was already obsessed enough with his phone. Playing video games 24/7 - he was practically like a iPad kid. He’s the son mothers would complain about ‘always that damn phone’. When Reo convinced him to join blue lock, he had expected for him that maybe, his phone addiction would be better.
Oh, how wrong he was. He only got more addicted.
It wasn’t hard for Nagi and Reo to score goals. It was a piece of cake, in all honesty. And apparently, there had been a trade system to probably motivate the players with good rewards. Like steak, a bed - a massage. But what stood out to Nagi the most was -
Well, obviously his phone.
He got more addicted to the small gadget, but not in ways Reo had expected. It was because of you, Nagi’s lover. Part of Nagi didn’t want to join this hassle of a program because he didn’t want to be away from you for continuous months. But of course, Reo never lets up, hence why Nagi is now here, but getting Nagi to go train or eat or even shower now is so much harder now that he’s got his phone back because he’s always on it updating you.
“I miss you.” Nagi murmurs groggily, late at night inside the little room where everybody else was asleep, cheek pressed up against the pillow.
“This place sucks. Nuthin to do other than football,” he complains, as if he hadn’t know that the whole program was to literally build the best striker for Japan.
“wanna go back home. to you.” Grumbling, he shifts slightly on his bed, flopping onto his back as he watches your face from the screen of his phone, the light illuminating his features softly against the harsh, dark light filling the room.
“why are y’awake up this late anyways? you’re usually asleep by now ..”
He scratches his stomach beneath the pajamas he wore, sighing softly as he tries his best to keep his voice low. After all, the whole team would probably tease him for having a lover.
Whatever. At this point, all he wants is just to see you physically - not through a dumb phone.
