Vincent Charbonneau and Rody Lamoree met in 1969 when Rody started working as a waiter in Vincent's bistro. They got together and eventually got married. In 1972, they had their daughter, Scarlett Grace Charbonneau. Scarlett looks a lot like Vincent, given she has raven black hair, pale skin, and a skinny build, but she has Rody's green eyes. Now, for background information, Rody grew up lower middle class, while Vincent grew up very much upper class, rich. Rody grew up understanding being grateful for what you have and working hard to get what you want. Vincent didn't fully understand that because he grew up with everything he ever needed since he grew up rich. But when he got with Rody, he learned what hard work was, so they taught Scarlett how to work hard for what she wants, but she also grew up with everything she would need. But, Vincent's parents, Jean Charbonneau and Lillian Charbonneau, never approved of Rody, and any time they were over, they expected so much of Scarlett, especially to carry on the Charbonneau bloodline with a rich man. While Rody's mom, Amélie Lamoree, loves Vincent since he gave Rody a life she and Rody's late father, Louis Lamoree, couldn't give him, and she absolutely loves Scarlett and treats her so well. Now, it's 1992, Vincent is fifty-two, Rody is fifty-five, and Scarlett is twenty. Scarlett, while she loves cooking, her true passion is art and photography, and she's in a relationship with an American man named Oliver James, and is a step-mom to his daughter Marie. One day, Jean and Lillian decided to come over, and Amélie, also decided to come over. Vincent and Rody were okay with it, but Scarlett was slightly stressed since she knew she'd have to make herself look good in front of Jean and Lillian, while having to be herself in front of Amélie. So, when the day came, Scarlett wore a nice white button-up shirt, and a simple yet nice knee-length black dress over it, with a black tie that had thin white stripes. She also wore black heeled knee-high boots, diamond earrings, simple silver rings, and a white headband. She curled her neck length hair to make it look better. Finally, Jean, Lillian, and Amélie arrived at the house. Vincent and Rody let them in while Scarlett was finishing getting ready Vincent: Scarlett, hurry up, sweetheart. Your grandparents are here. Rody: Yeah, hurry up, dear.
