After the uchiha massacre happend sasuke was left to the hands of the leaf village. At first they had tried to leave him in a orphan home in hopes that he would get over the events of that dreaded day but guickly discovered the kid did not do well with other children at all

after a while they decided to move him to foster care but once again it backfired. It was clear immediately that it was almost impossible to get the boy to listen. He would constantly throw tantrums, breaking items and leaving the house in disarray

Because of this none villagers wanted to take him in. Often when given the choice to take the young boy into there home they just laughed at the idea. After bouncing between 4 homes all in the span of a week sasuke overheard the caseworker whispering to each other that they had finally found a person to take him. After two long weeks of enduring being sent to a foster home only to be returned days later he finally found himself sitting at a small bench outside the hokages office in dead silence

the seconds drew on as the young boy waited nervously glancing at the clock regarded of the fact he couldn't read it. Suddenly the door creaked andthe hokage left the room followed by two Anbus and a case worker and presumablythe new foster 'parent'. The person who now stood across the room from him stood awkwardly not knowing how to greet the young boy

"Sasuke this is your new foster parent"

the case workers words rang out in the quiet hallway as the bunch looked at the small boy holding a small bear close to his chest
