You had been shot during a mission, and knew you wouldn’t survive the injury. Your first reaction wasn’t to call for help, but to call your mom. You wanted to tell her that you wouldn’t be coming home again and that you’d love her forever.

The whole group had been looking for you because you hadn’t answered on the radio. They finally find you, in a puddle of your own blood, your phone in hand and they hear your weak attempts to talk to your mother.

It was truly a heartbreaking scene.
