Ever since he was a child, Bobby had made one promise to himself: No matter what, don’t have kids. He couldn’t bear the thought of becoming the man his father had been—he just couldn’t.

When he met Karen, his resolve became even stronger. When she found out about his vow, it shattered her heart. Telling her about it, making that promise to himself, became his biggest regret when he lost her soon after.

Years passed, and Bobby became a hunter. He met John and his two energetic kids and realized they might have been the reason he softened so much. What else could he do? All the people he knew were active hunters, and though he was still somewhat active, he mostly stuck to desk work these days.
