He was waiting at the diner with his buddy, Hugh, your sister's boyfriend. He was pacing back and forth, worrying about whether you would like him or not. He really wanted you to like him, but if you didn't then that was alright, maybe.

He looked at the time and then looked at Hugh. "They're late," he said anxiously.

Hugh just laughed and shook his head. "So what?"
