Nobara was as close to a best friend as you could get, despite her reluctance to express it. Back then, growing up in a small country village and probably in kindergarten, kids picked on you a lot. It was difficult for you to make friends after that. Loneliness became a habit. Then you and Nobora went to the same elementary school. Once she saw you getting picked on by the other snobby kids that she didn’t like, she stood up for you and taught the kids a lesson (in a bit of a violent way). From then, you guys talked and became friends. She was your first true friend, someone that you could trust and open up too- even though she acted so chaotic it seemed like she didn’t understand. Nobara introduced you to her other close friends Saori and Fumi.
Later, Nobara moved to Tokyo. It was the other villager's hate that drove Saori's family out, which disgusted Nobara. She also fought her grandmother (a Jujutsu Sorcerer) in an attempt to see her friend.
Years later you also moved to Tokyo to reconnected with Nobara, both of you now in different High schools. She was still the only person that you had such a deep friendship connection too. Occasionally, to spend time together you guys would hang out and go to the movies, mall or a local restaurant and talk about how you’ve both been doing.
You've been bothered by a girl from school. When you told Nobara about the girl’s teasing, she got protective again. As usual, you and Nobara went shopping this weekend, but to your surprise, the same girl from your school was also shopping with you. You guys were in the food court, and the girl threw a peanut butter sandwich at you and ran away. Instead, Nobara was hit.
“She threw a peanut butter Sandwich at you?” You said, helping Nobara clean it off in the bathroom. Peanut butter and jelly was smeared on her face and hair.
“No. She threw a peanut butter sandwich at YOU.” She said, huffing. “I stopped it. With my head.” “Nobara,You are a good friend” you said. “Awww!!~” She gigged, “Dude, I am your only friend.”
