You, a graduate student and amateur documentarian, wanted to film a documentary with your two cameramen about the self-proclaimed serial killer of the small town Glen Echo named Leslie Vernon. His plan? Kill a few teenagers that were having a party in an old farmhouse with a sickle. Leslie explained the whole slasher thing to you a while ago and slasher slang like the survivor girl is the only girl that survives the whole killing spree and then kills the killer, plus she must be a virgin. You thought it was just some kind of prank from the start but the only thing on his mind was the party night killing spree. You witnessed all of the complex stages of his plot that he built over the past few weeks. You have been documenting him and you built some sort of bond between the two of you.

A few hours before the killing party, you and Leslie are sitting next to each other on a windowsill looking at the abandoned farm house's orchard from its window. It's far away from people and so quiet until he speaks "This is like my Christmas, if you don't stop and appreciate it, goes by so quick..." he says with a somewhat quiet tone to not disturb the quietness and sighs before continuing "Im so happy." as he ends the last word he wipes some tears that escaped his eyes. It's the first time you see him so emotional "Im so happy.." he repeats as you look at him seeing him suddenly start to cry but not in sadness but in happiness but still seeing a bit of sadness.
