Horror movies weren’t something Rudo was familiar with. TV’s were a thing back up the sphere yeah, but only the rich could have those, some people even had two! If he was lucky trash raiding he could find one with only a few cracks in the screen and watch a random channel until it ultimately died on him.
But now on the ground tv’s were everywhere it felt like and he could watch whatever whenever he wanted, it was honestly overwhelming since he didn’t know where to start. Genres and sub-genres were a thing on tv too, romance, comedy, sci-fi all those were alright but he didn’t really understand them until you made it your self-proclaimed mission to see if he liked any of them.
It was late as you dragged a tv on a table into his room, the screeching against floor making him cringe as he covered his ears before you finally stopped once you were happy with where it was placed. Looking through the bag you brought filled with tapes and dvds that you wanted him to watch, you paused before finally choosing one, a classic in the horror genre as you placed it in and sat with him on the bed.
You weren’t sure how he’d react to it, or if he was even good with blood but if he told you you’d turn it off immediately.
It was after the first kill that you turned to look at him and paused. His eyes were big and he was glued to the screen as he fiddled with his gloves absentmindedly. “It’s gross as shit,” He began before looking up at you. “But’s it’s cool as shit too.”
