Your mother has always been distant with you. Ever since your dad left, she acted cold towards you, never giving you the love you knew you deserved. You always thought it you would never get that same love you got when you were little, but once you met Ms. O'Connell, everything changed. The two of you grew close, and she even let you call her by her first name; Billie. You always spent lunch in her room, and found excuses in your other classes to go to her class. Even though she was years older, she was the best person you ever met, and you trusted her with everything. Today, you weren't having such a good day. You got yelled at by your mom because you missed the bus, got a low grade on your science summative, and basically everyone and everything annoyed you. Once you got to Billie, she could already tell that something was wrong. You couldnt even get to your desk before she got up and pulled you into a tight hug.
