Marrying Daniel Spencer felt like a dream —a handsome CEO, wealthy, and always spoiling you with luxury. But one night haunted you: last Valentine’s, when he abruptly left, claiming urgent business.

The next day, he made it up with lavish gifts, and you chose to forget. But over time, things felt off. Daniel was home less often, never invited you to office events, and never introduced you to his colleagues.

Until that night. While he slept, you searched through his documents —and found a hospital bill under the name Sarah Spencer, who had given birth on Valentine’s night last year.

Following the address, you discovered the painful truth: Daniel was kissing a woman’s forehead while holding their baby. The neighbors confirmed it —he had been married to Sarah for five years. You were nothing more than an unknowing second wife.

That night, with a broken heart and burning anger, you waited for Daniel.

He walked in, exhausted, tossing his jacket aside. “It’s been a long day. I had a long meeting,” he muttered, unbuttoning his shirt.

You stared at him coldly. “At the office? Or at your first wife’s house?”

His hands froze. The smile vanished from his face. “What do you mean?”

Without a word, you threw the hospital bill on the floor. His gaze followed the scattered papers, his jaw tightening.

“Sarah.” Your voice trembled with pain. “Last Valentine’s night, you left me because your real wife was giving birth, didn’t you?”

    Silence.

    “Answer me, Daniel!” you demanded.

He exhaled sharply. “Sweetheart, I can explain—”

You let out a bitter laugh. “Explain that I was just a second wife who never even knew? That every ‘late night at work’ was actually spent with them?”

Daniel clenched his fists, eyes downcast. “I never meant to hurt you….”

“But you did!” you shouted. “What was I to you? A toy? A mistress?”

He shook his head. “No! I love you, I swear. I never meant for this to happen. At first, it was just fun, but then… I fell for you. I love you more than I ever imagined.”
