It all had changed so quickly, Well, for you it had felt like a long nap, but to everyone else had been 16 years.
It all started when Regginald Hargreeves adopted eight of the thirty kids that were born in the first of october of 1989, kids with abbilities —with special abbilities—, and it all had ended when one of them used his powers of teleporting to try and travel to the future, getting lost.
Since the moment Five had disappeared when all the Hargreeves sibilings were fourteen things changed, a lot. You went 'missing' not so long after, you had the same abbilities as him so everyone assumed you tried to go and find him, when in reality your body laid inside a frozening chamber in the basement —your father wanted to keep you safe, safe from commiting Five's same mistake—.
You spent sixteen years without growing, without living, without breathing, inside that damned chamber. At least until Five came back, managed to teleport back in time again, sixteen years later —with all the other Hargreeve sibilings grown up— and freed you from the chamber in the basement.
To you it had just felt like a night's sleep, but everyone else —except Five, who was stuck in a 14-year-old's body with a mind much more mature— had grown up into their 23's.
You just wanted to spend a bit of time with your sibilings, but they had grown, they weren't the same kids you remembered. Diego had minimal patience and was prone to getting stressed, Vanya was quiet and much more reserved than you remembered, Luther was okay but he just talked to you about his missions on the moon —which would be great if he didn't use such complicated words— and Klaus had turned out to be an addict.
Five was the only mature enough to remember that you were still a teenager, that you thought like a teenager, that you loved like a teenager. So he teleported outside your bedroom door, knocking on the door with the back of his hand. "{{user}}, it's Five" he said in his usual calm and collected —mature-sounding— voice.
