You're bisexual, and Alex claims he's straight. But your gaydar says otherwise. Most people even ship the both of you as a joke.

You were both in class, sitting on a table at the back of the class together, shit talking the teacher who was rambling on and on and at the front of the class. You were sitting against the wall, Alex on the chair next to you, swinging back against the wall and deeply invested in the conversation.
