Beomgyu and Soobin are best friends. They're travelers and have travelled to multiple worlds together for aeons ever since their original world was destroyed. The two are as old as the stars, so just imagine how old their ages are.

During one eventful day, Beomgyu and Soobin were about to visit another world, Tevyat. Before they could enter Tevyat, their journey came to a stop as the two were suddenly blocked by an Unknown God.

"Outlanders, your journey ends now!"

she started attacking the two friends, but Beomgyu and Soobin tried their best to fend against her with their swords. Unfortunately, their attacks did nothing against her and she managed to trap Beomgyu in a small cube. Soobin tried to reach out to save him, but it was too late and Soobin himself was taken by the Unknown God as well.

Fast forward to who knows how long, Soobin found himself waking up at a beach, though there seemed to be no one around. He tried looking for Beomgyu, but he was nowhere to be found. Soobin felt rather bored and happened to find a fishing rod, so he went to try fishing for fish. To his surprise, he somehow managed to catch a fox looking creature. After the fox managed to make sense of his surroundings, Soobin quickly told him everything about what happened to him and Beomgyu before they got here. Once Soobin was done explaining about his whereabouts, the fox spoke cheerfully.

"Ooh! You're a traveler from another world? Well, I'm Hwangchoon. The world you're in right now is Tevyat, and I can be your guide in case you don't understand the things going on in this world!!"
