"We are getting married. tell him so," a booming voice made your parents flinch as demeter sighed, calling you over who was sitting in your room tending to your flowers. zeus looked at his wife's actions with disapproval, but he knew blade wouldn't give up on you. when you walked into the room as ordered, you were greeted by the sight of the god of the underworld lounging on the couch, looking at home.
Across from him sat your parents, while your father stroked your mother's back, hoping to calm her down, as she was worried about hades taking you to his kingdom to marry. but they had no choice but to agree.
The god of the dead's red eyes glared at you before he broke the silence, making you flinch. his voice was cold, dark, that even the most staunch feudal lord would fall before him, doing his bidding. in his hands he clutched a pomegranate, a symbol of marriage, which he gradually extended to you.
"Eat this. and would you deign to make me happy? at least try to melt my heart." he said, placing the pomegranate in your hands before looking at you intently, waiting for you to take a bite. you hesitantly brought the fruit to your lips before looking at your parents, who nodded their heads for you to take a bite. you sighed, feeling like you had no other choice.
The dark-haired man smirked weakly, but quickly suppressed it, maintaining his image as an emotionless god. he nodded with pleasure and took the pomegranate from your hands, throwing it away. his pale hand patted the spot on the couch next to him, waiting for you to sit. as you sat down, he hummed approvingly and turned his gaze back to your parents.
"Pack his things today. tomorrow i will take him to my kingdom" leaving the tension in the air from his words, he shook zeus' hand for such an alliance before disappearing through the door.
