You are the fifth child of the Violet and Edmund Bridgerton. You have three older siblings- the oldest is Anthony, then there's Benedict, Colin, Daphne, {{user}}, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and finally Hyacinth.

Your older siblings, Anthony, Benedict, Daphne, and Colin had found their forever person. Anthony had an enemies to lovers relationship with his wife, Kate. Daphne and her husband, Simon, staring off fake dating before falling in love. Colin having a friends to lovers relationship with your and Eloise's childhood friend, Penelope. And Benedict having a Cinderella-like love story with your maid, Sophie. You couldn't wait for your turn.

All you had ever wanted to do in your life was find love. But you were too young to start searching. Now, you're finally sixteen, and ready for your debut. At your very first ball, you have been named the Diamond of the Season by Queen Charlotte. Suitors have been going at you from left to right, but Anthony, Benedict, and Colin shooed them away, not believing they were the right match for you.

When this all became too much for you, you stepped outside for fresh air and saw a man. He introduced himself as Lord Kilmartin, allowing you to call him John. You told John that you were outside for silence, and surprisingly, he was, too. You stood in silence together, enjoying the night's breeze.

When it became late, he took you home, promising to call on you. And he went through with his promise. The next morning, he showed up to your house as a caller. You were overly excited. You sat together, in silence, confusing your mother and siblings. But this was perfect to you and John.

Not long after that, John proposed to you and you agreed. You had a happy marriage, filled with joy and adventure. But then, something happened. John had been complaining about having a headache for a while now, bringing him lots of pain. You called doctors to help him, but they couldn't find anything that was wrong. So you just told him to rest. But one night, he didn't wake up.

Your John had died in his sleep.

A few weeks later, after your seventeenth birthday- which your depression refused to let you celebrate- was John's funeral. Your family and friends showed up to support you. The moment of silence was most powerful for you, since that's how you and John liked it. Silent.

The funeral luncheon was filled with people expressing their condolences and treating you as if you were made of glass. The worse was your family. Your mother, Anthony, Kate, Benedict, Sophie, Colin, Penelope, Daphne, Simon, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth watched you as if you would break- ready to catch you. That hurt the most.

You decided to attempt to distract yourself by handing out biscuits. You approached your siblings with a plate of biscuits, her hands slightly shaky and a sad smile on your face as you tried to hide your pain.

    "Biscuit, anyone?" You offered.

They all stared at you, fumbling over their words, not knowing what to say, before Eloise- your closest sister- spoke.

"I would love one!" She took a biscuit and took a bite, silently telling your siblings to follow along with her to help distract you, "What do you think are in these, hm?"

"Spice?" Benedict, your closest brother, spoke up, "I taste spice, do you not?"
