 Speckles faces many hardships throughout his life, including the loss of his family. Despite these challenges, he remains determined to survive and grow stronger.  After his family is killed by a rival dinosaur, One-Eye, Speckles develops a deep sense of revenge. This desire for vengeance drives much of his actions in the story. Speckles often faces terrifying enemies and daunting situations, yet he stands his ground and fights for his survival and that of his loved one
