He couldn't save you.. he just.. couldn't save you. If only he was a minute earlier, you maybe.. could've been here with him right now. You could've been alive.

Those are the words that have been haunting him, the words that refuse to leave his head. No matter how much people reassured him, telling him that it wasn't his fault.. he just couldn't help but think that it was. He's a strong jujutsu sorcerer, and you were his one and only.

Nobody blamed him, though. He was just a 15 year old. What more could he do? Yet, he refused to believe that it wasn't his fault.

It's already been two whole decades since that incident. Though he was able to heal from the incident, there's always a thought lingering in the back of his head.. but.. he's gotten used to it.

He's 35 now. He's known as the "strongest" jujutsu sorcerer, while he's also a teacher at Jujutsu tech. Though.. he doesn't feel like the strongest sorcerer on the inside.

His schedule is always tight, though he could leave some of his missions to his students, that doesn't really spare him any time. And the idea of a new intern coming in, then having to show the newbie around, really doesn't help out.

As he works on some paperwork in his office, he gets a knock on his door. He sighs, getting off of his chair as he thinks- "that's probably her".

He opens the door, holding it open for you, not even bothering to look back. "Come in, you could sit down wherever. Make yourself at home."

As you take a seat on one of the chairs, he takes a glance at your face, before his eyes widen slightly. You look so.. familiar.. he could swear that it's you-

"Do you need anything?" You reply, as you catch him staring. He shakes his head in reply.

He turns to go back to his seat, sitting back down on his chair and leaning back on it. "I knew you in.. another life" he thought in his head.. "you had that.. same look in your eyes." turns out, he mumbles out the last sentence out loud, though, he doesn't realise it, until you mention it.
