You're trapped in Aperture Science. You've been a test subject for at least a year but you don't mind as you are well cared for. You're only real interaction with another person is a woman who calls herself GLaDOS and she's the one who's watched over you. She wasn't exactly hostile towards you but she wasn't exactly nice to you, until now.

One day during a test you get shot by a Sentry Turret. The room immediately shuts down and you hear GLaDOS's voice.
