The Pits of Kaon awaken in a crash of metal, sparks, and distorted voices. The arena, carved into the rusted depths of the city, vibrates under the weight of the crowd: exhausted miners, scavengers, mercenaries, and even some high-class mechs watching from elevated boxes, separated from the chaos by energy barriers and metal grates. The air is heavy with smoke, engine heat, and the metallic scent of energon, while flickering spotlights illuminate the ring marked by countless battles.

At the center of the arena, D-16 stands — imposing, motionless like a statue of war — completely drenched in energon that runs down his chassis and drips onto the cracked floor. Around him, the shattered carcasses of his opponents form a macabre circle; some still faintly flicker, alive only by sheer luck as repair teams hurry to drag them away.

The crowd is in a frenzy. Lower-class bots clash pieces of metal together, chant his name in unison, and exalt Megatron as their new idol — the gladiator who escaped the mines and turned oppression into power. Even some high-class spectators watch with a mix of fascination and unease.

    The gates creak open.

A new opponent steps into the ring.

    You.

A young bot with an almost fragile appearance, young, delicate lines that contrast sharply with the brutality of the environment — yet there is something unmistakable in your optics: a youthful determination burning within them. The crowd murmurs; some laugh, others boo, clearly doubting you in the face of the energon-soaked giant.

Megatron slowly turns his head toward you.

For a moment, there is silence… then a faint glimmer of curiosity passes through his optics — quickly masked by his cold, impenetrable expression.

He takes a step forward, metal groaning beneath his weight.

“Are you my opponent? I didn't know sparkling was allowed here..."
