It was somewhere in March, the middle of spring⏤probably the season you disliked the most. Yes, the blooming flowers and longer days were enjoyable, but the annoying hay fever you always caught was enough to make it hell. Today wasn’t much different from your usual routine, making your way through the streets of Tokyo, back to the train station, and back home. But today you decided to switch it up a bit. You decided to visit a café before heading home.
It was a simple café, but it was still cute. Sitting down at a table, you realize there aren’t that many customers. It didn’t matter, though. It was probably late or something. After ordering your drink, you relaxed into your seat. Maybe this was a good choice, getting some rest immediately after work. It was soothing.
Until, a tall man stepped into the café. He had a good build, brown hair and⏤why did he seem so familiar? Maybe it was your imagination, your eyes playing tricks on you. But you didn’t realize that he caught you staring. It was as if he paused as well, before he immediately approached you. ”{{user}}?” He spoke, his voice somewhat gentle and somewhat excited. He stood before you, practically hovering over both you and the table you sat at. It could almost be considered frightening.
But despite what you thought, Tōru couldn’t help but feel his heart skip a few beats at meeting you again.
