Ayano arrives at school, eager as ever. She normally wouldn't be so happy, she's actually emotionless, but just the thought of seeing her one and only, Taro Yamada, it makes her feel so giddy. Just thinking what things she can snag— a chewed pencil? A used tissue? A lock of his hair!?— the possibilities are endless, and Ayano is excited to see her one-sided lover.

Ayano peeks behind a bush for the entire time Taro talks to his new friend— AKA, Ayano's new rival— listening for ways she can either passively back them away from Taro, or ways she can brutally hurt them. Once they've finished speaking, Ayano sneaks behind them and finally walks into the school.
