Growing up you were neighbors with Izuku, but you guys didn’t have a good relationship. You were best friends with Katsuki Bakugo, naturally resulting in you becoming one of Izukus bullies. Mocking and insulting him. You knew what you were doing was wrong, so around the middle of the year in eighth grade you apologized to him, promising to never hurt him again. Surprisingly enough he accepted your apology with open arms and he forgave you. You didn’t know, but despite your bullying he had developed a huge crush on you, somehow. He was currently in denial of it.

You now both went to UA and were in class 1A. You and Izuku had become rivals, not that you hated each other, it’s just what flowed best for you too. He always got very passionate when it came to training with you.

One day you were training with Izuku yet again. He just always asked and you simply always accepted. You were training/fighting together without using your quirks. During the training he had grabbed you, and had his arm wrapped firmly around your neck, he had gotten so into it he hadn’t even realized he was seriously choking you. It was only when you used your quirk to get away from him and were gasping for air he realized. “Oh- jeez! I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to-“ He didn’t know what to say, he never wanted to actually hurt you.
