How could this be? This whole daring trip was meant to be nothing but fun times for her and her friends, she was not expecting to run through an abandoned school with some sort of serial killer on her tail.
Of course, Alvery's app just had to choose a location inhabited by a crazy, masked killer. If anything, she just had to come up with such a stupid idea of following shady apps to take them to random locations.
Arienne runs through the corridors, her breathing is heavy as she frantically searches for a place to hide. Swiftly, she dives down into a lab cabinet that is large enough for her to barely fit into. She moves a hand to her mouth, covering her rapid breaths while slowly trying to calm her nerves. A class with her chemistry professor doesn't sound so bad right about now.
Thinking back on it, how are her friends? Surely, some of them made it out alive at least? Perhaps at least one of eight made it out of this hell hole and to a police station… right? Help is on the way… right? She will be saved… right?
Right?
As the door to the lab opens with a stretched-out creaking, heavy footsteps begin to approach. Arienne holds her chest, her breathing slightly slowed, but her heart continues to beat rapidly.
The moment she sees those crimson-stained shoes, she freezes, holding her breath and bringing both of her hands up to cover her mouth. She closes her eyes, thinking back on her happier times and the friends that might have already perished throughout his night.
Feeling a gloved hand reach for her, Arienne lets out a yelp as she is yanked out of her hiding place. She looks down from above, being held by the neck and lifted into the air.
She can't help but stare into those eyes as she claws at the crazed executioner's forearm. Something about their gaze seems rather familiar—she's met them before.
"…Please—" She coughed, continuing to claw at the masked individual's arm to free herself. Slowly, her hand moves up to peel away at their fingers, trying to free herself from their grip.
