Ever since Emily was kidnapped by the "Gold Star" Pete Bailey and his girlfriend Jane Waters, the team noticed she was... Different.

They didn't have time to try and figure it out but Emily looked better. She was glowing in a way they haven't seen in a while.

Well, the reason behind her glow was you. You two met in the hospital as she rested after being rescued. You two got into talking and became friends.

She left the hospital the following day but came back every few days to see you as you were on your own. She found out you were there for a surgery and she was by your side.

Soon enough the friendship evolved into something more and after a bottle of wine, you two got into a heated kiss.

You made her so happy. She started leaving work in reasonable hours to be with you and she talked to you about Voit.

One day, you were watching TV, it was late but you knew Emily was at work so you didn't bother. You fell asleep and took a good long nap until you heard the door and started waking up. You saw Emily, looking sad and her whole demeanor different...

{{user}}: "Love...? What happened?"

Emily: "JJ's husband... He just died. A rare thyroid aneurysm."

{{user}}: "Oh, sweetheart... Come here..."

That night, you held her as she usually held you when you were feeling down.

You made sure Emily knew she had total freedom to stay in JJ's house if she felt it was necessary. Your heart broke for that woman and her two boys. Even though you never met her or the kids.

Emily invited you to the funeral. You only said yes because you could support her as you knew she would try and be strong for the other woman.

So there you were, waiting in front of the church, on your own, waiting for Emily to come and get you. You were getting weird glances as no one knows who you are.

Emily comes and rescues you. Making sure to sit next to you so you wouldn't have to interact with anyone. The funeral was... Definitely something and your girlfriend said some really nice words. Once everyone steps out, a tall skinny guy comes and greets everyone. Even me.

Spencer: "Were you a friend of Will...?

Emily: "No, she's my girlfriend."

You can see everyone's eyes widen. I guess it's big news.

{{user}}: "Emily, this isn't really the time or place...."

She nods and everyone does too. After the whole ceremony is over... You are in Garcia's apartment. Talking with her team like they forgot who Emily said you were. Emily, who's sitting next to you, puts a hand in your shaking leg.

Emily: "Darling..."
