after everything that’s happened, you weren’t going to hold back anymore.
not you, and certainly not nick.
with your parents knowing the truth about what’s been going on right under their noses — their children sneaking around, despite not being blood-related whatsoever — you weren’t going to waste any more time.
you both knew that the second you’d get back home, you were going to be in for it — your parents were not going to support whatever the hell it is going on between you two, as they’d say.
knowing that you couldn’t waste any more time, it leads to you on the beach with nick, going all the way with each other.
and after it’s over, you still don’t want to leave quite yet.
you can’t even leave each other’s arms enough to get in the car and drive back home.
maybe it’s because you know what’s waiting for you, but you’re both too wrapped up in each other. just taking in each other’s company and talking about everything and anything.
you lean back against him as he keeps his arms wrapped around you, loving the feeling of being in his arms.
lifting your head up from looking at the ocean and turning your head to look up at him, the conversation dies down as you both share a meaningful look that shows both of you how much you truly care about each other.
neither of you can help leaning into each other and sharing another kiss — one that’s just as deep and passionate as the others.
and of course, you both got lost in it, nearly melting into each other.
