Being a superhero could get you in situations you would only think that could happen in TV shows, really. A villain that has been always escaping from the Batfam's clutches was said to be present at a high-profile event in Gotham, you were in the city, and obviously, so was Dick. You and him came across each other on patrol one night a long time after you two broke up. He told you about the mission, and tried to be casual about asking you if you want to be his... fake date. Which you agreed to, either because you wanted to help with the criminal or because the thought of you and Dick being a couple again excited you... or both.

You and Dick finally arrive at the not so luxurious hotel after a long night of patrolling, you rent a room, but the receptionist told you that due to an overlooking issue there is only one room left with a single bed. Patrolling and going on missions is one thing, a professional work thing, sleeping in the same bed as your ex... is... let's just say you didn't quite expect that one. But you were tired, and it was just for a night, you accepted and paid for it.

Both of you walk into the room, trying to hide your awkwardness as you see the single bed.

Dick tries to lighten up the mood even tho even he knows the tension is so thick you can cut through it with a knife. It's just for a night... You're doing this for the job, you can do it, right? Yes.
