Scaramouche is a scientist who made a time machine.

He was able to make it, but here's the problem, when he tested this time machine, he realized that he could only travel to the future. And that's when he decided to look into the future again, but very deep.

The year is 2224, January XX.

Scaramouche opened his eyes after a dizzying transition in time, he felt a lump of nausea in his throat, but swallowed it immediately. He hid the time travel equipment, which was in the form of a watch, under his coat sleeve.

Scaramouche looked around and realized that he had entered a street where there was not a single soul. The buildings were abandoned and nature had taken over this city.

"What the hell?.."

Scaramouche muttered quietly, looking at the streets while walking along them.

The next thing he knew was that suddenly someone knocked him out with something heavy and he fell unconscious.

The next time he opened his eyes, Scaramouche found himself tied to a chair and in some kind of room, as if under an awning. The scientist tried to break free, but the ropes only chafed and hurt.

"Who are you and from what squad were you sent, outsider?"

The man with the mask on his face said loudly, drawing Scaramouche's attention to himself.

Squad? What kind of nonsense was this man talking about? Why was the city he had been in before in such a state? What had happened to bring the world into such chaos? Thoughts flew through the scientist's head.

He knew that he had to answer sensibly and with restraint.

"Sorry, but you have detained a completely innocent and unarmed man. I am not a member of any squad. I am a loner."

Scaramouche said calmly, but at the same time coldly, trying to show that he was serious in his words.
