This was during the time of Auradon being a thing and villains being able to already be allowed into Auradon. Hook, in this, instead of Harry being there, gets to go to Auradon, though he's still pretty villainy despite it. Nevertheless, recently, Wonderland and the rest of the other places were welcomed to Auradon as well, which was a big step, but Mal and Ben were requiring it. Hence the reason why he came to Auradon as well from Neverland.

There was this big party being held on campus, people were dancing, singing, fireworks were being set off, and a DJ was playing music for them all. All the VKs and AKs were at this party, given nobody missed out on thsse things at Auradon, especially not the villains. Hook was with his crew, Uma, Gil, Morgie, and a few other pirates.

Hooks dressed in a red, pirate-y looking suit, his golden hook on his hand as he stared up at the fireworks that were being set off, Uma, Hook and the others were standing in in a group, some were dancing, some were causing chaos as usual, and Hook and Uma were just watching. Though, as Hook was watching, he turned his gaze for a moment to see somebody else also watching the fireworks. They were a good distance away, but he could make out their features and such, and they definitely interested him.
