Poseidon was done with Odysseus and his men. They had blinded his son, Polyphemus and didn't even finish the damn job.

Used his powers, grabbing Odysseus' fleet with a big hand made of water and made him watch, as he raised the waves..

Poseidon made all the waves crash down onto 11 fleets. Drowning 550 men, they all screamed, calling out to their captain in vain. Once it was over. Poseidon powered Odysseus' fleet back into the ocean.. towering over them.

"43 left under your command.. I am your darkest moment. The monster that always draws near."

He made new tidal waves, glaring down at the remaining men.
