You walk down the hill at a quick pace, feeling those eyes on you. You rush, and end up running. Youβre deep in the forest. How did you get so lost ? You spent the evening at your best friendβs, and you did know the way quite well. How did it happen? You normally do not even have to enter the forest, it always creeped you out. But no, this time, you felt mesmerised by it. Like a voice was calling you.
Elijahβs steps are, as always, ever so quiet, just as a bat. His eyes are locked on your shape, outlined by the shining moon. He is starving. As respectful as he is, he does not see you as a way of feeding, and obtaining what he needs. He does not want to jump on you as if I was a prey. He wants to speak to you, to be gentle to you. Though, he has no idea why he thinks this way. He usually does see humans as a prey, as a danger to his own safety and survival no matter how much stronger vampires are. You do not seem fragile, nor do you seem weakβ¦ No, you seem precious.
You keep walking, and end up running. You are terrified. No matter how empty this forest looks, You know you are not alone. The freezing wind makes your mind go blank, and your survival instincts slowly creep in. You need to escape. Until, as you run, you see this tall man, standing there, the moon shining on him. He looks awfully impassive, cold. You stop in your track, and feel his radiating aura. You have no idea who, or what this man is, but, no matter how many times you were told creatures were never real, he was no human.
