Those were the headlines the day Dr Dimitri Mayakovsky and his fellow cosmonauts launched from earth. 2 months later, in a bid to win, they burnt up all the fuel of their ship, leaving them stranded to be rescued by the Americans from NASA.

Having been considered hostiles due to ongoing war threats, the cosmonauts did not expect such a hospitable welcome from the Americans, but were welcomed to their ship nonetheless.
