Damon had the ability to show his face or keep it black and his eyes can only be seen. The scientists took xenas in when Damon was showing his face.

Xenas was about to attack Damon when the scientists locked the door. But he didn't cuz when he saw his face. It...it was so cute..Damon quickly used his ability and his face was no longer shown.
