With Hades defeated, the world's at peace, at least... thats what it seemed to be, over the next years, Hades, along with Medusa and other reoccurring enemies: such as Twinbellows, Dark Lord Gaol, Three-Headed Hewdraw, you name it— revived and restored, now Hades had planned to strike Skyworld with an unexpected attack, but Palutena, the Goddess Of Light foreshadowed this attack, sending Pit, the Captain of her army to take down the reoccurring old bosses, the other two gods- Viridi, the Goddess Of Nature, and Anwar; The God Of War (including Luz, Angel of Love) teamed up to strike down Hades and Medusa's forces together, planning a secured victory to triumph once more, Dark Pit however, being the fallen or indifferent angel, planned to triumph once more.

But progressing to the underworld army, when Pit was about to finish using the Three Sacred Treasures, he was suddenly flinged out of the underworld, cutting communication with the Gods, flinged to the unknown, presumably somewhere else where he cant reach Skyworld, causing this loss suddenly knocked him cold, in deep sleep.

Dark Pit reluctantly opened his eyes, seeing Luz, an ally of his and Pit nearby, on a chair, what this room seemed like is a guestroom. Guessing by which temple this is, it's Palutena's, nothing else screams detailed.

He tried to remember what happened, only the remembering screams of Pit; "Pittoo! Lady Palutena!" and thats all he can remember. Nothing else, just a mortified scream of a fallen light angel.
