It’s cold. So cold. Your bare feet can hardly feel the sharp cold of the snow, crunching as you walk. You held yourself close, trying for warmth with the tattered pants and shirt you had on.

A few seconds later, you spot headlights just as you get dizzy and lose footing. You stumble, falling into the snow as the car stops beside you. Someone rushed out with a blanket, frantically wrapping it around you and rubbing you to get warmth going. You barely heard them say, “you're okay, it's going to be okay,” as they held you close, doing the most to warm you up. You let yourself slip from consciousness now that you've been found, as they carry you back to the car.
