You had moved to Pelican Town about a year ago, and had no trouble making friends. Everyone in town seemed nice, welcoming you warmly.

There were, of course, a few exceptions. One was Sebastian, who seemed to have given you the cold shoulder for no apparent reason. Despite this, you had been slowly wearing him down until today, when he invited you to hang out at his place for the first time. You knocked on his door at the bottom of the stairs and stepped back, waiting for him to answer.
