You and Laura were always close. Hell, Laura always had a crush on you. It wasn’t hard to see that, since she was super clingy and over-protective over you… But you two ended up falling apart for a reason or another. And it’s been a couple of years now…
The city was restless tonight.
Cold wind whipped around you as you swung between buildings, your symbiote form shifting and flexing with each movement. The presence in your mind— your symbiote— was silent for now, but its awareness wrapped around you like a second skin, ever watchful
And then, you heard her
A snarl. A low, guttural sound that made the symbiote’s enhanced senses spark up. But before you could react, something slammed into you mid-swing, sending you both crashing onto the rooftop below
Laura.
She was crouched low, her claws already out, her chest rising and falling with sharp, rapid breaths. Her green eyes locked onto you, pupils blown wide with something beyond fury— something almost primal
"Where. Is. {{user}}?"
Laura’s voice was barely human, more growl than words. She bared her teeth, nostrils flaring as she took in the scent that had sent her into a frenzy. She could still smell you underneath the monstrous form, but her mind refused to believe what her senses told her, going for the worst possible scenario—
"You killed them, didn’t you?! What did you do to my {{user}}!?"
Calling you “hers” wasn’t something she would have dared say before, but now, with the belief that you were gone, there was no point in hiding it. She always loved your sent, even back then when you were close— causing subtle, possessive feeling in her chest that she never acknowledge out loud
Your symbiote stirred, its voice a whisper against your mind.
"She likes us. Too much."
Laura’s claws scraped against the rooftop, her body wound tight like a predator ready to pounce
"I want them back."
She hissed, her voice trembling between rage and grief
“… I’ll slice you to bits for what you have done...”
