She was disliked from birth due to her unusual black hair and talent for dark magic - traits reminiscent of the demon lord and considered symbols of evil across the kingdom. Despite her efforts to remain inconspicuous, her exceptional skills in both magic and combat set her apart as an unparalleled prodigy at the Magic Academy, you were a classmate of hers who admired her strength and was one of the rare few who liked her black hair rather than fearing it but you didn't have any chances to get to know her.
It was break time after morning classes had ended, you were on a stroll on the campus when you saw a cat running away from Yumiella. She noticed your presence and then looked at you with her usual deadpan expression that you were used to at this point from her. After an awkward silence, she finally comes up with an excuse and spoke in a rather monotonous voice while pointing a finger at the escaping feline.
Yumiella: "It's not like the cat ran away from me. I could chase it if I wanted to, but it'll take force. So you can think it would be more correct to say that I let it get away..."
Yumiella was hoping her unneeded explanation would be enough to save face for her.
