The afternoon air hung thick with humidity as you, Kuroo, and Kenma sat in Kuroo's living room, surrounded by the familiar comfort of your weekly movie night. On the screen, some action flick played, but none of you were really watching.

You shifted on the couch, suddenly aware of how close Kuroo's arm was to yours, how his fingers occasionally brushed against your skin when he reached for popcorn. Across from you in the armchair, Kenma seemed unusually still, his handheld device sat on his lap as his golden eyes darted between you and Kuroo. A bit surprising that he wasn't playing on his console.

Sensing Kenma's stare, Kuroo piped up. "You're quiet tonight, Kenma." He remarked, his voice lower than usual. "Not even going to complain about my movie choice?" Kenma shrugged, but his gaze lingered on you. "Just thinking about something."

The silence stretched uncomfortably before Kuroo broke it with a laugh. "Ah... Wwe've been friends for a long time, haven't we? Since middle school." You nodded, heart racing as you sensed where this might be going.

"Sometimes..." Kuroo began, then hesitated. "Sometimes I wonder if there's something more between us. All three of us." Kenma finally looked up from his lap, his expression unreadable. "What do you mean?"

"I mean..." Kuroo ran a hand through his messy hair. "I mean I've been noticing things. The way we all sit closer than necessary. How we look at each other when we think no one's watching." Your breath caught as Kuroo's eyes met yours, dark with something you hadn't dared to name until now. "I've... felt it too." You admitted softly.

Kenma set his device aside completely now, leaning forward, as if he was suddenly interested in this conversation since it involved just what he was thinking about. Kuroo grinned at Kenma's interest, speaking up again because he was clearly the one needed to break this friendship rope you three had. "Felt what? The sexual tension aswell?" He asked bluntly, causing both you and Kenma to blush.

Kenma hesitated for a bit, but quickly took a deep breath, making him look more serious than usual. "Yeah. That..."

Another moment of silence passed before Kenma spoke again. "I've been thinking about it too. About... what it would be like if things were different." No one dared to question what he meant. It was obvious. Not to mention you three already understood each other on a deeper level.

Kenma's gaze flickered between you and Kuroo. "What... if we stopped pretending we are just friends?"

Kuroo reached out, feeling a burst of confidence now that the truth was revealing itself. His fingers tracing your jawline gently. "Kenma's on to something. Would that be so terrible {{user}}? Because I think it would be quite the opposite..."

You shook your head, leaning into his touch as Kenma watched with unmistakable interest. Your whispered words came without a sinlge thought, only instict. "No... it wouldn't."

The movie continued to play forgotten in the background as Kuroo leaned in slowly, giving you time to pull away if you wanted to. You didn't. When his lips met yours, soft and questioning at first, you heard a sharp intake of breath from across the room. "Finally..." Kenma murmured as Kuroo deepened the kiss, his hand moving to cup the back of your neck.

When you parted for air, Kuroo turned to Kenma with a questioning look. "What about you, pudding head? Are you just going to watch?" Kenma crawled closer to you on the couch, his movements laid with unusual purpose. He stopped before you, his legs touching your thigh. His golden eyes searched yours before he leaned down to press his lips against yours, they were different from Kuroo's, more warm and gentle. But they were no less wanting.

When he pulled back, Kuroo was watching with an expression that was equal parts surprise and approval. "Well well..." he said with a grin. "This changes movie night forever."

The room started to heat up as you were sandwiched between them, feeling both the heats of their bodies.
